Display FPV drone images on TV: How to use RC-HD (RC832HD)With a product called RC-HD Video Receiver (HDMI output) (Amazon.com) or RC832 Video Receiver (RCA output) (Amazon.com) , you can display FPV image of drone on a TV or PC display. This is convenient when you want to enjoy FPV images of drone racing with a large number of people and perform drone maintenance. FPV drone controlling with TV is like a video game or simulator. However, since the antenna is not a diversity system, the reception performance is inferior to general FPV goggles a little. It seems that you should replace the antenna with a more sensitive one.

Introduction of RC-HD (RC832HD)
This HDMI connector is Type-C (mini-HDMI). A mini HDMI-HDMI conversion connector (Amazon.com) is required to connect to general HDMI (Type-A) cable. On the far left is RCA output cable outlet. However, TVs with RCA input are not currently on sale, so it seems to be useless.
Slide switch labeled "1080P" is the output resolution selector switch. Tilt it to the left (HDMI connector side) to get 1080P, and to the right (power connector side) to get 720P.
For power cable, I replaced the connector with XT60 (Amazon.com) to connect my AC adapter (output 12.4V) for charging LiPo battery.
How to use RC-HD (RC832HD)RC-HD starts when power is connected, and a two-digit number is displayed on the LED display. First digit represents the band (1 to 6 correspond to A, B, E, F, R, L), and second digit represents the channel (1 to 8). Each time you press lower button labeled "FR", the band switches, and each time you press upper button labeled "CH", the channel switches. Connect HDMI cable to TV or PC display, select output band and channel of drone's VTX, then image of the drone's FPV camera (same image as that displayed on FPV goggles) will be displayed on entire screen.
As mentioned above, reception performance is slightly inferior to general FPV goggles because the antenna is not a diversity system. If it is within the line-of-sight range, it has sufficient reception capacity, but if it is separated by a wall, the reception capacity will decrease.
The body gets quite hot during use. I will watch the situation and install a fan if it causes overheating. If you have a 12V-40mm fan, you can screw it on back.
