DJI AVATA Drone Description and Specifications
Since this aircraft has a takeoff weight of 100g or more, it is subject to the " Flight Rules for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles " in Japan. Additionally, after purchase, you will need to register with the Drone Registration System . See below for details.
What is DJI AVATA Drone

Since takeoff weight is about 410g, a visual observer is required for flights. Also, since the transmitter uses 5 GHz band, it is necessary to obtain an amateur radio license. You can shoot 4k 60FPS video with FOV of 155 degrees.
As a VTX, the newly developed DJI O3 Air Unit digital FPV system is installed. Other performance such as cameras generally surpasses previous model DJI FPV .
Flight modes include Normal mode / Sport mode, which are similar to conventional DJI self-leveling drones, and Manual mode , which is unique to FPV drones. However, Manual mode is only available for DJI FPV Remote Controller 2. Manual mode is disabled by default and must be enabled from goggles screen. Also, by turning the screw on the back of the controller, throttle spring can be disabled, similar to the radios for FPV drones .
As for goggles, both the previous model (DJI FPV Goggles V2) and the lighter and smaller version (DJI FPV Goggles 2) can be used. DJI motion controller (DJI) for one-handed control are also available. The DJI Fly app is used to control it, just like the DJI FPV
